Kfar Saba
Kfar Saba is a city in the center of the country, in the southern part of the Sharon Valley.
Translation of the name "Kfar Saba" - "the village of the grandfather". This name is mentioned by Josephus Flavius ​​as the name of the Greek city located here.
Lands in this area were acquired in 1892 with the help of Edmond James de Rothschild. They were used for agricultural purposes.
In 1913, twelve first houses were built in Kfar Saba. In 1937 there were about 3000 settlers living here.
In 1962, Kfar Saba received the status of a city.
